This formulation is utilized as a foliar spray to effectively control thrips and fruit borer on Chilli plants, as well as yellow stem borer and leaf folder on Rice crops.

Metalaxyl 8% + Mancozeb 64% WP is a wettable powder that combines the systemic fungicide metalaxyl with the contact fungicide mancozeb. This powerful mixture contains 80 grams per kilogram of metalaxyl (8% m/m) and 640 grams per kilogram of mancozeb (64% m/m). Metalaxyl 8% + Mancozeb 64% WP, also known as MZ 72 WP, provides dual protection to target plants during their active growth phase. The systemic activity of metalaxyl works from within the plant, while the contact activity of mancozeb protects from the outside. This combination ensures comprehensive protection for plants against fungal diseases.
